In the present times,space and time are dynamic and evlving concepts.The Cartesian,Newtonian and Eistenian theories of reality are no longer valid.Perhaps chaos theory might be the closest to understanding the universe today.
The universe is transcdental in nature and thus beyond words.Without rising to higher planes of consciouness,it is absolutely impossible to comprehend events and nature.Every moment is unique and thus static viewpoints are no longer relevant.
Artificial divisions between the observer and the observed do not hold good and the entire cosmos has become intertwined and interlinked.Any movement anywhere has a ripple effect across the universe.
This understanding has major implications for all aspects of life.The vast majority of people have a fragmentd viewpoint because of faulty education and upbringing.They are enmeshed in narrow perspectives of colour,sex,culture,region and language.As a consequence there is hostility everywhere and the slightest provocation triggers a violent reaction.A multi-dimensional and multi-cultural approach is required to address the human predicament.
From childhood it is necessary to teach children to be gentle,understanding,patient,tolerant,persevering,humble and eager to learn.It is a tall order but there is no alternative.

.The term shunya is a metaphysical term amd is beyond description.Mathematics in its origins is a study of the infinite or the indescribable.As a person advances in terms of consciousness.his comprehension of the universe also changes.Einstein said," I cannot imagine God playing dice with the world".Pythagorus,the father of modern mathematics was a mystic.He always believed in sticking to the essentials while describing real phenomenon rather than get unduly engrossed in minute details

Mathematics,according to theancients was the study of numerals to bring about peace and harmony Present day mathematics is being applied to promote discord and division.Children in schools are being taught principles which have no relevence in real life except to make them more utilitarian and commercial.The teacher should be able explain the essentials of mathematics to encourage children to be creative and flexible.

A new approach

The traditional approach to understanding Nature and its mysteries has been to take a linear or one dimensional view.The result has been knowledge and understanding have become utilitarian while loosing their objectivity and spirit of inquiry.
It is impossible to understand matter and its properties without a growth in the human consciousness.Unless there is a link between the observer and the observed there cannot be a true understanding.As the consciousness expands itself and enters into mystical dimensions,matter also unravels its mysteries in a more subtle and occult ways.Every person has two aspects to his personality-the masculine and the feminine.As one grows in understanding and wisdom,the two polarities merge and become a synthesis.
Language has been a major obstruction in understanding and relating with physical phenomenon.The ancient Greek philosophers like Heraclitus and Pythagorus and the Vedic Rishis used intuition while narrating their understanding of reality.Words like Agni,Jal,Akash,Prithvi and Vayu have a deep and intuitive significance in explaining reality.Infinity,eternity,timelessness,relativity,transcendental,mystery,evolution and creativity are also words which can be used to unlock the human consciousness. Even homeopathy is based on certain spiritual principles.
Meditation,Mantric poetry,Pranayam and listening to music can also lead to spiritual experiences.The Scientists of tomorrow will be poets,philosophers,artists and Yogis.
